Yeah, I'm out of wisdom. Just kidding! I just got all my wisdom teeth out this morning. I'm really glad that it went so well but I can't really get up and around yet as I'm still rather dizzy. It's not too bad at least I've been able to be home and this is a free weekend for we students from Fairwood. This means all I have to make up for class and chapel (9 o'clock hour) since I left early.

 Other than that I'm doing okay but just extremely busy with studying for tests and the like. I'm really glad everything  at school is going well and that I'm getting to know my classmates better. Now all three classes are studying Eschatology together. I'm pretty nervous about the test coming up as it will be rather intesive.

 I'm also happy to relate that we've definitely had an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the school for at least the past week. We've been getting up early every morning and praying for it and sure enough God has answered!!

 Also some really awesome news!!!!! My 12 year old sister Jaqueline accepted Jesus after coming up to Fairwood this week. My mom said she was crying and said she just wanted Jesus in her heart. This is an incredible miracle as we've been praying for her since she came home from Brasil to have a heart change and give her life over to Jesus. Just thinking about it makes me almost cry it's so awesome!!

 Well I've got more catching up to do with people and stuff so I'm closing for now.

A Sunday afternoon entry :-)

Wow looks like I haven't blogged here in ages!! Oh well anyhow I'm back now. We held a Youth Weekend here which ended today. Sarah (my sister) came for the first time and really had a blast. The second year students planned lots of fun games and stuff for the kids to do. Since I'm a first year I just had to clean up and easy other jobs. Oh yeah, I did get to take them all on a hike though with one of the staff and had an awesome talk with Jane and Melinda.

 It's been a fast going week. It's amazing that it's almost Thanksgiving, well 2+weeks away but still the time has flown since I've been here. I have a lot to do most of the time but some days like today there's lots of free time. YES FOR FREE TIME!!!!

 Well I've gotta run and reply to some emails I got.

      Will write soon hopefully.

School Days

Well I'm actually at the town library so I got a good connection that way. This week has been fun and stressful at the same time. We have a big assignment coming up. I was working on it today even though we didn't have a designated study time I used some free time instead.

 Other than work and that, the colors are changing which I think is awesome and all around it smells like leaves. The only thing wrong is the sun hasn't been out for the past few days so that's a little dissapointing.

 After we're done here at the library we might go out to Friendly's for a frosty but we're not sure.

 Um.....well guess that's all for now!! :-) My brain seem too full to be able to let out any other useful new news. LOL

Here at School

 Wow looks like I haven't come on here since I got to school. Well here I am at last enjoying it very much. The people here are awesome, all devote believers that really love God and want to serve him to the fullest.

 This week we're celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles so there are relatives of the other students here and friends. We've had a lot of good sermons preached and people have also been sitting in on our morning classes so it's nice to have some new faces.

 Tonight hopefully we'll also be able to play in the gym since we watched a movie last night instead of bothering to get everyone together since we were pretty tired from a long day. ;-)

 Other than that this weekend I'm going to a surprise b-day party of my great aunts so that will be nice. I'm thinking of coming directly back here though since after settling in and getting emotionally....shall I say calm I'd rather not go home for the night in fear that I may slip into like a depression or something. Not like I would or anything but once your away from home and go back....well it probably wouldn't be easy, lets just put it that way.

 Okay well, that about sums it up for now I'd better see what else I can do online before I sign off.

       Hopefully I'll be writing more often now that I'm connected.

Baby Time!!

We just visited my friend Stacy and her new baby girl yesterday. I love babies!!!! Her name is Emily Mae. I got to hold her for a good part of the visit too.

 Speaking of babies I have to make an infant dress for a baby that's gonna be born next month. I'm so excited!!! The mom asked me to make it so now I need to pick out some material and do it up for her before I leave for school.

 Well this has been a busy but productive week. We had our niece and nephew over the weekend so that was fun. Sky and I painted the upstairs bathroom mint green on Saturday plus we did 2 coats on the ceiling.

 Yesterday I almost completely finished painting the diningroom too. All that's left is to go over the holidays and it's set.

 Sarah and I watched the Continuing Story last night. (It's the last movie in the Anne of Green Gables series). We'd seen it before but it was nice to re-see it.

  Well better get going, Jaque needs me to wash her hair.

          Only 11 days left til I leave for FBI !!!!!

Seasons of Change

Another busy week....yup that's what it's been. I know I just wrote not long ago but if I don't write now I know I'll forget. Anyways Monday we had company....it was okay. I kind of wish I got more done but oh well. Also they're kind of under the radar about discouraging me from going to FBI for some reason.

They claim it's like probably better for me to stay home since I'm only 17, and not the most mature person especially since I'm nieve (sp?) and make friends so easily I might just go and get myself into a relationship I'd regret......Now who's acting pushy, and sticking their nose into other peoples business here???

Plus making me feel hurt. It's over I know but it still doesn't make me feel good to have my life-long friends talking like that to me. If they say that kind of thing to me than what are they telling others? Nothing good I imagine.They wanted to say bye to me before I go to school I suppose but encouragement would be a nice change.

It was also my parents 30th wedding anniversary so we had some fun at night celebrating that. Dad got chinese food out for him and Mama and there was enough for us the next day. Yummy!! Also he picked up the mail and in it was my outifits I ordered from Mrs. R. She was so sweet, she even made me a purple riding skirt that is so full I can almost hold it above my head. I'm saving it from getting ruined til I leave for FBI.

 At least I have a handful of friends and relatives who are standing up for me and giving me hope about leaving home after all it isn't even a city college, it's Bible School.

 Anywho enough rambling....I got up at 6 AM this morning and made bread. It came out just perfect!!! I did school in like 2 hours so that's good. Yesterday I was able to almost completely finish the girls dresses and go to Salvation Army on top of that. I got some nice new shirts and a jumper.

  Well I'd better run along.....have lots to do today.

Getting Ready For The Change

Oh well, it's been somewhat of a stressful week. Preparing to move out isn't easy....even though it's just FBI still I sometimes wonder if I'm doing the right thing.

God has His plan for my life I know that. Anyways not to dispair I'm gonna do this while holding my chin up high and say PRAISE THE LORD!! He is my faithful Master no matter what happens His Will is sovereign.

 Okay so I got almost everything on my list of stuff that I need for school all I need now is pj's, another notebook, and a few other things. It shouldn't be too hard getting that stuff, it's more the emotional part. 

 Now this afternoon I need to finish making my new denim jumper plus maybe start Jussara's new dress but not sure if I'll wanna sit in one place that long. Tonight Mama and I might go out with the girls to Wal*Mart and Joann Fabrics. I'm gonna try to see if I can find some more denim, no idea if I can cause all I found a few days ago was a lot of heavy denim and only 3 yds of lighter denim that i bought to make this jumper.

 Anyways on Sunday we are going to a baby shower for one of our Brazilian friends. Maybe I mentioned it before but yeah I'm excited about it. LOL I love anything to do with babies. We bought her a new diper bag and a jumpy seat.

 I've somewhat gotten into a cooking mood lately, Rebekah, Jaque and I made a marble cake. It turned out more chocolate than vanilla cause I put the chocolate mixture in the wrong bowl of batter. It still tastes good cause I just had a piece of it a lil while ago.

This is getting long I'd better stop rambling now before no one ever reads my entries again.

outdoor fun

Well, I just finished up with stacking some wood under the porch before supper. Dan did the last part of it for me as I was getting kind of worn out. 

One problem.....when I went out to move the truck I didn't realize Jussara had put the metal spring up so I ran into it and bent it out of shape. At least we had another one so I was able to replace it, although wasn't planning on doing any fence repairs tonight. Fun, fun....not. LOL

 Anywho today was rather uneventful otherwise, I did some school this morning, had lunch, read some of God's Smuggler, brother Andrew....very good book I'd highly recommend it to anyone!, after I took a rest went out and cut down some branches that were hanging over the lawn area that gets mown....and that's about it other than a few household chores.

 I'm debating on whether I want to finish watching "Mrs. Arris Goes to Paris" now or if I want to finish Sarah's jumper. Since there's so little to do with it I might as well finish up the jumper first I guess.

 Yesterday we had some fun. Since it was Mama's b-day we all went down to visit Grandma for the day and then we went shopping at a few places after we got Dad from work. It was a great day altogether.

 In some ways it's kind of nice I've had kind of a quiet summer since there doesn't seem to be much going on, just the regular with 9 kids at home.  No really everyone has been doing fantastically well considering all the new adjustments the newest arrivals have had. (pm me if you want details on that)

        I'm gonna get back to whatever it was I wasn't doing....mostly randomness. LOL

Approved!!!

Well, yes like my title of this entry says I've been approved at FBI (Fairwood Bible Institute). I'll be going on Sept. 10th. Now I've got packing to do, things to get together in preparation for the move etc. It's all good though!

 Today we went to visit a church in VT that we hadn't been to in a while. It was nice to see them again. Things are definitely changing everywhere. One of the girls there whom I've known for a while might just be pen-pals w/me when I go to FBI. I think that would be really great if we could.

 Our downstairs bathroom is almost done getting remodeled. Now we're getting the mirrors put up, plus it has to get painted, and there's a few more things my dad's gotta do w/ the plumbing.

 I finished a dress for Jana yesterday really pretty light green. We actually got some of this fabric from a friend so I'm trying to use it up before I go get some more. Soon though maybe I'll get some denim to make a skirt and  jumper for me and other wear for the girls. Dunno how much will get done though since I'm leaving. Feels like everythings a rushed blur!!

    Only like 4 weeks away.....

hot summer day

The title is pretty much what today's been, hot but peaceful not too many things going on just a quiet day pretty much.  I'm really glad cause this afternoon I was able to clean out the cellar. My lil sis Beka and I got rid of 4 or 5 grocery bags full of trash plus some old clothes or ones we don't need. Lately a lot of us have been in a purging mode....ya know getting rid of stuff etc. Also a neighbor of ours came up with her son on horses and let each of us kids take a turn. Even I got a ride!! What docile animals they were, thankfully cause I don't like animals that spook easily they make me spook too. LOL

       Well gotta run!

this weekend

I have so much to write but not nearly enough time to write it all. LOL First of all we went up to ME for a wedding of a close friend of ours. We all got to stay overnight up there but had to leave early the next day to get home for some people that were coming to our house who had just come back from Brazil.

 This whole past week/weekend has seemed to be just a complete blur! I finally got my approval for going to Fairwood Bible Institute. So therefore if everything goes as planned I'll be going there starting Sept. 10th. It's really exciting but kind of worrisome since I don't really know how to prepare for such a long time stay somewhere.

   Well gotta run!

I've joined the fun (finally) LOL

What a day it's been! Well rather dissapointing but not too bad. We were going to have company for church this morning but they ended up not coming after all. Oh well! The Lord knows what's best for all of us. Hopefully later I'll be able to start on a practice vest pattern for myself. If it comes out right in this size I will end up making it in a green or some other color that I like.

 I've gotta run! Lots to be done.
